About Olivia
A little bit about me...
I am a passionate, goofy and empathetic mom of two babies and two animals, part time hairstylist, Doula, human living in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I enjoy being creative and getting to know people through both of my jobs. Hobbies? Reading, running, napping and eating.
I grew up in northern Manitoba which gave me a strong sense of community. I feel strongly about making connections and building a village of support for all aspects of fertility, pregnancy and postpartum.
I realized my calling for birth work after my own experience with trying to conceive and pregnancy. I wanted to be as informed as possible in order to feel prepared and empowered in my birth. My own experience with a Doula showed me how valuable this role is. Months after my daughter was born, I realized I still couldn't get enough education about all things related to reproduction. I signed up to do my Labor and Birth Doula training through Doula Canada and have since expanded to the Fertility Doula program, as well as Infant & Pregnancy Loss Support.
I am always seeking any way I can to expand my knowledge and learn how to best support my clients. I love being a cheerleader for anyone trying to navigate whatever experience they may going through. I can't wait to hear your story!

"Our experience with our doula Olivia was fantastic - she offered lots of support and provided plenty of resources both before and after the birth of our baby. Even with Covid 19 restrictions, we always felt connected with and supported by our doula." |
